- Case study: Implementing NServiceBus in a high-end Enterprise System
Description:
When moving NServiceBus from the Lab to a full-scale enterprise implementation in a critical business system, we have to take a lot of "unknowns" into consideration, both regarding implementation of business code, and issues related to availability and scalability. Coding in the field of asynchronous communication is not always a simple task and will challenge developers used to code for more stable and predictable environments.
In this talk we'll present a case study, where an architecture based on NServiceBus is the core of an enterprise retail system, managing millions of messages and transactions every day.
Topics to be covered: creating robust code in an asynchronous environment, scalability using NServiceBus Distributor with fail-over, general principles when building a servicebus infrastructure based on NServiceBus, etc.
