Raimonds Simanovskis has long experience with various Oracle technologies. In recent years Raimonds has been using Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails web application framework together with Oracle database and applications. He has created and maintains Ruby on Rails Oracle adapter, Ruby library for PL/SQL integration and PL/SQL unit testing framework.

He is also Oracle ACE and blogs about Oracle, Ruby and Mac. Raimonds received Oracle Magazine's Developer of the Year award in 2009 for his open source contributions and community support in Ruby and Oracle interoperability area. He is regular speaker at local Oracle user group conferences as well as was speaking about Oracle and Ruby at Oracle OpenWorld 2010 and 2011.

Currently Raimonds is a founder of new company EazyOne which is developing eazyBI software as a service business intelligence web application.
